Parmesan and Pea pasta
This pasta was actually inspired from a project in history class a few years ago! This is a great way to incorporate veggies into a creamy and delicious pasta!
Ingredients:
- Elbow pasta
-½ cup of heavy cream
-1 cup of peas (frozen or fresh)
-1 cup of freshy grated Parmesan
-Salt
-Pepper
-Red crushed pepper
Steps:
Step #1: Bring water to a boil and follow instructions on box. Put aside about ½ cup of pasta water. Drain.
Step #2: ** If needed, boil the peas. Drain then season them with salt, pepper, and red crushed pepper.
Step #3: In a sauce pan, add the heavy cream and spices. Once it starts to bubble, add parmesan and mix slowly. After five minutes, add the pasta and peas to the sauce. Mix and serve with even more Parmesan. (you can never have to much cheese!!) Enjoy💙
