Maple Apple Oatmeal

I love fall, the maple and cinnamon that fills the house is unmatched. I have always wanted to get into oatmeal, but never found the right flavor or consistency. This oatmeal solves it all, the apples pair beautifully with the maple and the oats are perfectly cooked. This is as good at oats get!

Ingredients:

-⅔ cup of sprouted rolled oats

-1 tbs. of maple syrup

-2 tsp. of cinnamon

-1 apple, cubed

-2 tbs. of chia seeds

Steps:

Step #1: In a small saucepan, bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil. Once boiled, add the oats and let it simmer on a low heat for 7 minutes.

Step #2: Add the cinnamon, maple syrup, and chia seeds after the seven minutes. Once incorporated, add the apples and let them simmer for another 4 minutes or until all the water is soaked up.

Step #3: Pour into a bowl and to with cinnamon. Enjoy 💙
