Mac N’ Cheese

This easy, cheesy, and warm Mac N’ Cheese will leave nothing but satisfaction on your face! Make this Mac N’ Cheese for any party or gathering and I can guarantee an empty tray!

Ingredients:

-3 cups of Fusilli or Shell pasta

-1 block of Extra Sharp Cheddar

-1 block of Monterey-Jack

-½ cup of Whole Milk

- ¼ cup of Heavy Whipping Cream

-3 tbs. of paprika

-2 tbs. of pepper

-¾ cup of Mozzarella

-1 tbs of butter

-2 tbs. of olive oil

Steps:

Step #1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook the pasta 2 minutes less than the box instructions say, this is because the pasta will continue to cook inside the oven.

Step #4: Mix the sauce then allow it to simmer on low heat for 5 minutes to assure that all the cheese has melted. If baking the Mac N’ Cheese immediately, add the pasta into the sauce while simmering. If planning to bake at a later time, allow both the pasta and the sauce to completely cool before mixing together.

Step #2: As the pasta is cooking, shred all of the three cheeses and set aside. Keep about 5 tbs. of pasta water then drain the rest. Use the olive oil to oil the pasta once finished cooking.

Step #5: Depending on when you are going to bake the mac, make sure to top it with the mozzarella cheese. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. At the end, place on a broil setting for about 5 minutes. Enjoy 💙

Step #3: Inside a large saucepan, melt the butter and begin to toast the paprika and pepper. After three minutes add the heavy cream and the whole milk, mix. On medium low heat, add the Cheddar and Monterey- Jack cheese into the sauce along with the left-over pasta water.
