High Protein Waffles

These waffles that not only provide a huge amount of protein to any breakfast, are delicious as well! The addition of the cottage cheese is not only disguised but it proven to help with overall health at any age! Enjoy these waffles with fruits, honey or your favorite butters!

Ingredients:

-½ cup of oats (old fashioned preferred)

-5 generous tbs. of cottage cheese

-2 tsp. of chia seeds and hemp seeds

-2 tbs. of honey

-½ tsp. of cinnamon

-⅓ cup of whole milk

-Toppings such as honey and fruits

Steps:

Step #2: Remove the lid and add the baking powder and milk to the batter. Blend one more time until it reaches a constancy similar to a pancake batter.

Step #1: In a food processor, add the oats, cottage cheese, chia seeds, cinnamon, and honey. Blend until thick and slightly combined.

Step #3: Heat up the waffle iron and lightly grease with avocado oil. Depending on the size of the iron and personal preference, spoon the batter into the iron and close firmly.

Step #4: After about five minutes, check on the waffle and once a golden brown color and fully cooked sides are achieved, remove and repeat the process with the other waffles.

Step #5: Once all the batter is finished, serve these waffles with honey and your favorite fruits! Enjoy 💙
